Mai Thai restaurant Bastrop serves some of the most authentic Thai food in the area and we also have some so called Thai fusion. Dishes traditional to China and other parts of Asia that we have made Thai versions like our Orange Chicken. Everyone at Mai Thai is dedicated to serving the best possible food and serving our customers' needs come first and are of the utmost importance to everyone here.
We focus on keeping our prices low, offering fast service and most importantly make sure all of our food is Thailicious.
My wife and chef Thongjan Bock, she started her career selling food on the streets of small town central Thailand as a teenager. She eventually got a job as a cook at a seaside resort. She worked there mastering her cooking skills until she became one of the head chefs. It’s there she meet me, her American husband and immigrated to America In 2001. Being passionate about what everything cooks, she insists on does all the shopping and much of the produce we use comes from our own greenhouse.
Being from the land of 1000 smiles, all service comes with a smile. If it is not on the menu just ask, we can probably make it.

Disclaimer: When we came up with our name Mai Thai I did not do a lot of searching around the area. we liked the way it sounded and it was available in Bastrop County. I have found out there is also a Mai Thai restaurant in Austin. It is a very common name, I would like everyone to know we are not associated with the Austin Mai Thai restaurant in any way.
